The Outstanding Educator Award recognizes outstanding
achievement and excellence in classroom service to students
with behavior disorders. Amy Quinley, was
the 2010 recipient of the Outstanding Educator Award.
In recognition of her determination
to include students in the general education setting,
for her team and parent training abilities, for her superior
judgment and diplomacy, and for having andsharing the
vision that all students can achieve.

The Outstanding Leadership Award
recognizes outstanding service and leadership to the field
of behavioral disorders on a national level. Mitchell
Yell, was the 2010 recipient of the Outstanding
Leadership Award.
For his influential
work in legal and policy issues in special education and
his dedicated, exemplary service as a teacher, teacher
trainer, mentor, and researcher in E/BD.

The Outstanding Advocacy Award recognizes an individual
who has exhibited outstanding advocacy on behalf of students
with behavior disorders. The 2010 Outstanding Advocacy Award
was presented to Cindy Scarbrough.
In recognition of
her dedication for creating a strong PBS and RTI program
at Marysville Junior High School, and for having inspiring
energy and inexhaustible passion for creating a premium
learning environment for all students.

The
Building Bridges: Seeds for Program Development Grant
is given to support activities and programs to improve educational
programs for students with behavioral disorders. The 2010
Building Bridges Grant was presented to Bert Nash
Therapeutic Classroom, Lawrence Public Schools,
Lawrence, Kansas, in recognition of their outstanding work
in meeting the needs of students.
