The Midwest Symposium for Leadership in Behavioral Disorders (MSLBD), founded in 1982 is the name both of the organization, and of the annual professional conference sponsored by that organization. The annual conferences held every year since 1983 at the end of February in Kansas City, MO are intended for all professionals who focus on working with children and youth with emotional and behavioral disorders, including teachers, psychologists, administrators, child care workers, teacher trainers, and researchers.

On February 23-25, 2012 the Midwest Symposium for Leadership for Behavior Disorders held its 30th Annual conference in Kansas City!
