Incorporation

MSLBD was incorporated as a non-profit 501c corporation in Kansas in 1992, and is a self standing organization. At that time, a board of directors consisting of five directors plus four officers (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) was also established. These individuals are elected at the annual meeting, and although they have legal responsibility for the organization, it is the larger and more fluid planning committee which actually is the decision making body. None of these board members receive any salary or other compensation.
